CASAHL Technology Counted Among Top Finalists for the 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards in Notes Transition
SAN RAMON, CA, June 24, 2009
Today, CASAHL Technology announced it has been selected as a 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards finalist in Notes Transition.
We are extremely pleased to have been chosen in the Notes Transition category. We have aligned our efforts with Microsoft’s Notes Compete Initiative and are working together to achieve success, said Dr. Harry Wong, President and CEO of CASAHL, At CASAHL, we are extremely proud of our products, employees, and long history of supporting successful migration and coexistence projects for Lotus Notes applications. This award is frosting on the cake!
CASAHL’s Lotus Notes application migration technology includes analysis, migration and coexistence support. CASAHL Lotus Notes Application Analyzer is in the 6th version with over 650 successful engagements with the Notes organizations around the World. CASAHL ecKnowledge version 9.7 supports migration and coexistence with SharePoint, InfoPath, SQL Server, .NET, corporate DBMS, SAP, and other migration targets. ecKnowledge allows information workers to participate in many of the migration projects. The company’s IT can use ecKnowledge to migrate custom applications and rebuild Notes workflow applications without one single line of programming.
ProActive, a Danish IT consulting company and CASAHL Business Partner, selected CASAHL ecKnowledge as their Lotus Notes application migration solution at a large Danish medical company with a global presence. According to ProActive’s Chief Architect, Henrik Kim Christensen, We found ecKnowledge after a long search and we are sure there is no other solution on the marketplace that can offer this kind of sophisticated migration solution. Christensen said that only ecKnowledge allowed ProActive to automate the migration of rich content and structure into MOSS Web Publishing pages, retaining its formats, attachments, meta-data, and complicated link relationships.
In addition, a period of coexistence between the Lotus Notes system and SharePoint was required in such a large (7,000 users) installation, Christensen continues, ecKnowledge supports a period of coexistence between our Lotus Notes applications and Microsoft solutions. That allows our users to ease into their new environment smoothly.
CASAHL has been working extremely well with the Microsoft Notes Compete Global Practice group to achieve significant successes around the globe. We performed extensive tool evaluation among all the Lotus Notes application migration vendors, said Scott Prather, Director of the Microsoft Notes Compete Global Practice team, We found CASAHL’s toolset to be most complete and robust to satisfy our need to support sophisticated Lotus Notes application migration. We highly recommend CASAHL’s toolset which covers Lotus Notes application analysis, migration and coexistence.
