CASAHL Technology, Inc. Announces Replic-Action™ 5.3 for Lotus Notes

CASAHL Technology, a leading provider of enterprise data integration products, today announced the release of its new version of its award-winning software, Replic-Action™ for Lotus Notes. The new upgrade, Replic-Action™ 5.3, integrates data from a diverse set of enterprise systems with Lotus® Notes®, allowing customers to build more powerful collaborative and knowledge management applications in Lotus Notes. Replic-Action™ development environment uses intuitive and familiar Lotus Notes interface to create sophisticated data integration applications.
Replic-Action™ 5.3 features the following:
Enhanced User Interface
- Composer now implements role-based security, which allows you to control read/edit operations on connection objects, jobs, and to execute the jobs
- Enhanced design to use Domino features, which enables you to view the applications using a browser
- Ad-doc sorting on additional columns in default views
View-Based Replication
- Supports one-way replication from Notes views
System Catalog Maintenance
- Convenient agents to perform maintenance operations like reset schedule flags and globally change server name for all jobs
Enhanced Logging & Administration
- Detailed logging of key values by choosing an option at job level rather than globally in server configuration
- Server writes more events to the log during job execution
- Administer Replic-Action™ server using a browser and perform tasks such as view current activity, list of pending jobs, etc.
Notes Configuration Information
- Helps resolve problems arising due to multiple Notes versions installed on the computer
Additional Data Sources
- Use XML with Lotus Notes/Domino applications
- Integrate Lotus Notes/Domino with LDAP compliant enterprise directories
- New version of ODBC drivers that provide high-performance, clientless connections using wire protocol technology to connect to Oracle, DB2, Informix, SQL Server and Sybase.
